Sugakawa Base is perfect for 4-6 guests, while Nojiriko Back Country Base fits 3-5 guests. Both are ideal for families or small groups looking for a nature escape.

Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, both chalets are available for seasonal rentals, with a minimum stay of one month. This lets you truly settle in and enjoy the area’s rhythm.
Do I need a 4WD vehicle in winter?
Yes, we highly recommend a 4WD during winter months for safe access. Snow-clearing equipment and instructions are provided at Sugakawa Base.
Local help is available for snow removal if needed.
