Sugakawa Base requires a minimum one-month stay, perfect for extended escapes. Nojiriko Back Country Base offers more flexible seasonal rentals. We recommend booking early, especially for winter months, as availability fills quickly during peak ski season.
For winter stays, a 4WD vehicle is strongly advised due to heavy snowfall in Nagano. Snow clearing equipment and support are provided—our team ensures you’re prepared for snowy mornings. Local councils also assist with regular snow removal near the chalets.
